FAQ

Answers before you get started.

You do not need to be a technology expert to work with AXD. These answers cover the most common questions about services, pricing, support, and getting started.

Do I need to know exactly what technology I need?

No. Start by explaining the problem, goal, or process you want to improve. AXD can recommend appropriate options based on your organization, budget, and priorities.

Does AXD work with small businesses?

Yes. AXD is designed to help small businesses use professional websites, Microsoft 365, cloud services, automation, security, and ongoing support without needing a large internal IT department.

Does AXD work with nonprofits and community organizations?

Yes. Nonprofits and community organizations are an important part of AXD's focus, and discounted pricing may be available where applicable.

Can AXD work with organizations outside Oregon?

Yes. Website development, Microsoft 365, Cloudflare, automation, security consulting, and many managed technology services can be delivered remotely nationwide.

Can AXD manage or improve an existing website or Microsoft 365 environment?

Yes. AXD can review an existing environment and help with redesigns, migrations, administration, security improvements, cleanup, performance, and ongoing support.

Can AXD work with our existing IT provider or vendor?

Yes. AXD can support a specific project or technology area while coordinating with an existing IT provider, vendor, internal employee, or consultant.

Why are prices listed as “starting at”?

Every project has a different scope. Content, integrations, migration, licensing, support, and timeline affect the final proposal, so starting prices provide a useful baseline without forcing every client into the same package.

Are subscriptions and licenses included?

Third-party subscriptions, Microsoft 365 licenses, domains, and other software costs are quoted separately unless they are specifically included in the written proposal.

Do you provide ongoing support after a project is finished?

Yes. AXD offers managed technology and ongoing support options for clients who want help with maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, monitoring, or future improvements.

What happens after I submit a quote request?

AXD reviews the request, follows up if more information is needed, and recommends the next step. For straightforward work, that may be a proposal. For broader needs, a short consultation may be the best starting point.
